Star Wars Day 2017

Happy Star Wars Day!

May the fourth be with you.

In a galaxy far far away not too long ago in 1977 A New Hope came to theaters hoping to succeed in the extremely competitive market that is the movie industry. Not only did star wars make it, it now works more than three billion US dollars.Wow, great job George Lucas for creating such a memorable and breathtaking sci-fi the world has known. Us here at Disney Lovers HQ we are huge fans of Star Wars and sci-fi and are super excited that today is star wars day. If you didn't know its star wars day, you know now. If you don't know what star wars day is, here is a brief explanation. The saying "May the force be with you" Sounds a lot like " May the fourth be with you" so fans a while ago declared it a holiday to celebrate all things star wars. Then Lucas film declared it to be a real holiday on its 30th anniversary. Fans usually celebrate with a party with friends and watching all of the star wars movies together and having star wars themed snacks. so, now you know the ways of the star wars fan. Anyway, I wanted to write this article to share how we and our family came to love star wars.

The first one to be a fan was, of course, my father. Back in 1977 my dad saw star wars and loved it. He has always been a sci-fi fan, and once he saw star wars the game changed and he started collecting some star wars merch. My mom liked it as well. My first time watching Star Wars was when I was about 10 years old so that would be 11 years ago. I was watching star trek with my dad and my parents ended up talking about sci-fi shows and he said "oh man, I love sci-fi. this and star wars are the best there is." and I asked him what that was, then he became shocked and ran to grab the DVD or VHS I don't remember wich, and he had me watch it. At first, I was like "aw man dad, I don't wanna watch some old show." and after I finished the movie I instantly became a fan. Ever since then I have played the star wars games, watched all the movies a million times, and collect merch. I thank my mom and dad for that. What is funny is my dad looks exactly like Harrison Ford! I can prove it. So when we went to Disneyland we went on star tours, and there is a part where the ride scans the audience for rebels. And they scanned my dad and showed him on the screen. and almost everyone in that room was like "oh my gosh its Harrison ford! he's in the ride right now!" people even stopped him to ask if he really was him. My dad still doesn't believe me that he looks like him. all my friends think so too. But, anyway you know when you're a kid and you wanna fit in so badly you try to put off things you normally would probably like? yeah, that was me back then. now I don't care if people think I'm a nerd. When I was a little girl I have always liked super hero's, Dinosaurs, sci-fi, fantasy, and anime.  I still do.
My favorite movie is Return Of The Jedi. My favorite character is Han solo and Chewbacca. And my favorite things about star wars is the compelling storyline, interesting characters, strong female protagonist, the action, and of course the light sabers.

Thanks For reading, here is the question for the day. Who is your Favorite star wars character? what are your favorite things in star wars? and what episode is your favorite?

Should Kida Be An Official Princess?

For 17 years now, Atlantis has touched the hearts and imaginations of Disney fans. One character stood out the most, the princess of Atlantis Kida or Kidagakash. We fans have wanted Kidagakash to become an official Disney Princess. So the question is, should Kida become an official Disney princess? There are a few points I'd like to make to prove my point. Kindness kida in her whole on the screen has been nothing but kind to the Atlantians as well as people outside of her culture. she does everything in her power to protect her people and keep them thriving as a culture. she is the exact description of a princess and the kindness she should have. Brave Same as Merida, she is brave in all of her endeavors. Even in one scene, she kicks some butt when the mercenaries attacked her, she could have died. Independent Just like Merida, Jasmin, Tiana, etc. She is independent and can handle things herself. She is a warrior, a princess, and a survivor. Does she fit the criteria Disney require

Loki TV Show?

What a Loki TV show?  Just so you know there are minor spoilers to Avengers end game ahead. Like Thor, fans everywhere have been saying "Loki isn't dead!" Do we here at Disney lovers think this is true? Of course! how many times has this trickster come back to life? or did he? well according to the Russo brothers and the articles I read from business insider. Although they cover other pressing questions they answer the one thing us major Loki fans have wondered. Is Loki Alive? Well, this interview with the Russo brothers in an attempt to get some answers.
