Princess Tiana: A Tribute

Hello again Disney lovers! Today I have posted a bunch about Princess and the frog. And as I looked at all this Princess and the frog content I realized something. Princess Tiana is way  underrated!  Why do I say this? Because whenever you ask a girl or a boy who their favorite princess is,  they generally answer with Ariel or Elsa. They generally answer with what's popular; like frozen.  Don't get me wrong my favorite princess is Ariel but mostly because of the mermaid parts. As a child I had always loved the sea.  Tiana has so much more to her than people realize, and this article  is gonna tell you why.

                                                  1. She works hard and is very driven.
Yes, most princesses are very driven towards there goal. However, Tiana works hard and doesn't take short cuts.  However she does work hard and forgets that she can have fun too. It is good to teach young boys and girls that you need to work hard for your dream and not simply wish for it. Yes, dreams can come true , If you work for them. This is what Princess and the frog teaches children. And I appreciate that they made the modern princess a hard-working independent woman. In This time of age where women are sexualized  and objectified; it is nice to see a decent young woman working for a dream that everyone tells her it's impossible.  This is especially apparent since this movie is set in the 1920s where women could be expected to work only at home or on minimum-wage jobs. Also, since it's the 1920s racism was a all time high. She had two disadvantages being a woman and a woman of color.  This time of age women were still fighting for suffrage (the right to vote)  so women back then didn't have much power over anything. However, Tiana work through all that and people screwing her over and got the restaurant she wanted.

2. The importance of family
And Princess and the frog family was very important matter what. Not all  princesses have a mother but Tiana does.  Throughout the whole movie Tiana is motivated and empowered because of her mothers supporting nature. She is also motivated that her father  wanted restaurant as well. I think this is a very important thing to teach children that family is important. Even though, do you get old and think you know everything but you always will need your families help at some point.

3.friendship

I think one of the most important things top in this movie is Friendship.  Tiana and Charlotte are the best friends and support each other throughout the whole movie. I think this is really cool. It's especially amazing  since this movie is set in the 1920s where it would be thought impossible for a woman of color to be friends with a white woman. I think that shows that no matter what color or race you are you could still be great friends.  And especially this time of age where we struggle with discrimination with race, gender, etc.  these are my favorite friends in the whole Disney universe.  You just got a love charlottes Spunkiness and hyper disposition.  And also got a love Tiana for her level-headedness and loyalty.

4. Dreams

You're just one of my favorite things about Tiana . She dreams Big  and she never gives up. Yes she works hard for her dreams but she'll show much is on that start. Watching this movie inspired me to keep going with my dream and it should encourage you to keep yours.  Because if it's Tiana can do it, you can too.

Thank you for reading my tribute to Princess Tiana. Keep looking next time or more articles or park information. Thank you.

Should Kida Be An Official Princess?

For 17 years now, Atlantis has touched the hearts and imaginations of Disney fans. One character stood out the most, the princess of Atlantis Kida or Kidagakash. We fans have wanted Kidagakash to become an official Disney Princess. So the question is, should Kida become an official Disney princess? There are a few points I'd like to make to prove my point. Kindness kida in her whole on the screen has been nothing but kind to the Atlantians as well as people outside of her culture. she does everything in her power to protect her people and keep them thriving as a culture. she is the exact description of a princess and the kindness she should have. Brave Same as Merida, she is brave in all of her endeavors. Even in one scene, she kicks some butt when the mercenaries attacked her, she could have died. Independent Just like Merida, Jasmin, Tiana, etc. She is independent and can handle things herself. She is a warrior, a princess, and a survivor. Does she fit the criteria Disney require
