Should Kida Be An Official Princess?

For 17 years now, Atlantis has touched the hearts and imaginations of Disney fans. One character stood out the most, the princess of Atlantis Kida or Kidagakash. We fans have wanted Kidagakash to become an official Disney Princess. So the question is, should Kida become an official Disney princess? There are a few points I'd like to make to prove my point.

Kindness

kida in her whole on the screen has been nothing but kind to the Atlantians as well as people outside of her culture. she does everything in her power to protect her people and keep them thriving as a culture. she is the exact description of a princess and the kindness she should have.

Brave

Same as Merida, she is brave in all of her endeavors. Even in one scene, she kicks some butt when the mercenaries attacked her, she could have died.

Independent

Just like Merida, Jasmin, Tiana, etc. She is independent and can handle things herself. She is a warrior, a princess, and a survivor.

Does she fit the criteria Disney requires?

Had a primary role in an animated movie?

Yes and no. Milo was the main character, but she was a love interest like jasmine. Aladdin was the main character of her story. So I say, yes!

Be human 

yes! of course, she's human!

Be royal, marry royal, or perform an act of heroism 

Yes, born royal!

Be a box office hit 

No, the movie grossed $84,056,472 and the budget was 120 million USD. Sadly, it didn't make the money that it needed to.

She hits almost every requirement to become an official Disney Princess. So, why isn't she an official Disney princess?

The reasons why I think she isn't official

* She doesn't dress modestly. I think the point I'm making is Kida's outfit was more sexualized than Jasmin's.

* The movie wasn't a box office hit. It didn't make back the money it took to make it. The matter of money seems to matter in this decision.

Conclusion

As an avid Disney fan, I appreciate the hard work that was put into this movie. I would love to see her in the Disney parks. I think we all would love some merch, that probably won't happen huh? As an overall answer, I think kidagakash should most definitely be a Disney Princess.
